1.) Observer watch in a stainless steel case
Observer watch in a stainless steel case with metal dial with the following printing 'KM' and the IWC - logo. The visible diameter of the dial is 41 mm.

On the back:  'German eagle'   coined
    'M 6038'    serial number engraved
    'II. Kl.'     Chronometer II. class

Inside on the case back the case number and the Probus-stamp have been engraved. Inner case back for dust protection with engraved case number.

Case numbers:
1074901 - 1075264  =  365 pieces delivered to Messrs. Gerl + Schipper from July 14, 1942 - Dec. 9, 1942
1075265 - 1075500  = 235 pieces delivered to various retailers from 1943-1944
1076201 - 1076500  = 300 pieces delivered to Messrs, Gerl + Schipper from August 1942 - December 1942
   total   665 pieces

2.) Observer watch in a nickel case
Observer watch in a nickel case with an enamelled dial with the following printing 'KM' and the IWC logo. The visible diameter of the dial is 49 mm.

On the back:
   'German eagle'   coined
   'M 9331'    serial number engraved
   'II. Kl.'     Chronometer II. class

Inside on the case back the case number and the Probus-stamp have been engraved. Inner case back for dust protection with engraved case number.

3.) Observer watch in a nickel case
Observer watch in a nickel case (Met. bic.) with a full luminous dial with the following printing ' KM' and the IWC - logo. The visible diameter of the dial is 49 mm.

On the back:
   'German eagle'   coined
   'M 9331'    serial number engraved
   'II. Kl.'     Chronometer II class

inside on the case back the case number and the Probus-stamp have been engraved. Inner case back for dust protection with engraved case number.

4.) Observer watch in a nickel case
Observer watch in a nickel case with enamelled dial and the IWC signature. The visible diameter of the case is 49 mm.

On the back: supply number '12 - 121 - 8633' given by the German Army.

Remaining pieces of the 'KM' navigation watches in a nickel case have been taken over by the Federal German Navy and are equipped with dials without the KM printing, in addition, the engraving on the back (German eagle, M-number and the hall mark II Kl.) had been removed and replaced by the supply number (12-121-8635).

We cannot find out how many pieces have been remodelled, but we suppose that there are only a few pieces.

5.) Observer watch in a stainless steel case

On the case back:
- property number of the German Forces was engraved supply number 6645-12-144-3142.
It is the same execution as the 'KM Stahl II. Kl.'

In our archieves both cases had the reference 135 (KM and BWB). inside on the case back the case number and the Probus-stamp are engraved. The case has no special back for dust protection.

Bundeswehr case numbers:
1792901 to 1793025 (total 125 pieces in this series, additional series probably produced, so the number of pieces could increase essentiafly), delivered to the Bundesamt in Koblenz/Germany on December 5. 1966.
 

6.) Observer watch in a stainless steel case with a metal dial with the IWC logo, calibre 9720.
The visible diameter of the dial is 41 mm.

On the back:
- property number of the German Army = supply number 6645-12-151-5866
- IWC - Reference 5301 '
- calibre 9720 with Incablock - shock-absorber
- 17 jewels
- 18 000 vibrations per hour
- special wooden box with the supply number 6645-12-124--9144 coined on the back.

Last delivery in 1987 total 47 pieces + 7 pieces in addition.
